Voting serves all of us. Thank you for your commitment.
I am Republican and my mission is to ensure we are one nation under God, not one nation under government.
I am a worker and my mission is one of service. I am a disruptor - the ideas I am proposing are common sense, but radical to political status quo.
I am someone, who can truly fight against the Marxist ideology of the extreme Left to ensure it does not take root in the most impressionable minds - those of our children.
I will vote against raising taxes. I will oppose getting us into foreign wars, and, instead, focus our efforts on America.
I will fight for education, not indoctrination. I will be a sentinel for the U.S. Constitution.
The time is now and the stakes have never been higher to ensure people like myself get the opportunity to legislate. I am a fighter with a mindset of playing to win, not playing it safe.
With that said, I need your help: help from our strong
community. Every cent, every dollar will be utilized to ensure we win. I ask of you to contribute, so I can fight for you, fight for ALL Americans.
Together, we will preserve our republic, our culture, our essence and you will have a champion who will fight harder than anyone else in government to create the ultimate legacy for your family - our America!
Burt Thakur was born in New Delhi and raised by his maternal grandparents: Jagdish and Indira. He spent his childhood in India, where his grandfather was responsible for the care of the national forests, tigers, and land management.
He moved to New York in the late 1980s and later attended Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Navy and gave up his Indian Citizenship, in order to serve our country. Burt served as a nuclear reactor operator on the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. He was honorably discharged in 2006, after serving for 6 years.
After the service, Burt moved to California and worked for MMR Power Solutions. He built, operated, and managed Co-gen power plants. He subsequently worked in critical power and is currently an engineering project manager facilitating construction processes for large data centers.
In 2020, during the week of the presidential election, Burt received national recognition, when he appeared on the television game show Jeopardy!, during Alex Trebek’s final season as a host. Burt became a Jeopardy! champion, but received the most attention for sharing his personal story of how the show changed his life. The moving story - a tribute to both his grandfather and the late Alex Trebek, would go on to be shared and seen by millions of people on television, social media, on Good Morning America, Fox News, CNN, and various other media outlets across the globe, inspiring and reminding millions of Americans of the importance and impact of empathy, family, and the American Dream.
Today, Burt and his wife reside in Frisco, Texas. As a Texan he is called to action with an emphasis on getting things done — SOLUTIONS, NOT WHINING.
Please consider the various ways to contribute. Support Burt by contributing monetarily, volunteering, endorsing, telling voters in our district about us, or, if nothing else, by buying some food for someone in need. Our shared connection and kindness is the most valuable asset we have as Americans.
